Private review guide
If a repayment is genuinely overdue, the practical first step may be to contact the relevant lender or collector directly and understand what is outstanding. Keep any receipts, letters and updated statements. We can review the report with you, explain what it shows, and help you prepare for that conversation.
Possible next route: ask the relevant lender about a repayment arrangement or settlement directly. An outcome is not promised.

Something on my report looks wrong
If information is inaccurate, outdated, or does not belong to you, raise a dispute with the reporting institution, source party or CTOS as appropriate. 96 Century can help you understand what to ask and what documents may be useful; only the relevant source can make the correction.
Possible next route: use the reporting institution’s or CTOS’s dispute process and keep a record of your request.
My monthly commitments are difficult
Several payments can create pressure even when each one is legitimate. A review can help you set out the commitments, distinguish monthly cash-flow pressure from a report issue, and identify questions to ask about restructuring, direct repayment arrangements, or independent debt-management support.
Possible next route: discuss restructuring with the relevant lender, or consider independent support such as AKPK where appropriate.
I was rejected but my report looks clean
A previous rejection does not prove that you are “blacklisted”. Income, existing commitments, supporting documents, credit history and a lender’s own criteria may all matter. We can review the report and explain the questions worth preparing for; any financing assessment remains individual.
Possible next route: organise the relevant documents and discuss whether an individual 96 Century financing assessment is relevant. Approval is not guaranteed.
Two different sources
If you want to clear CCRIS or CTOS, first identify which record is involved. Each source holds different information and has a different process for updates or disputes.

CTOS compiles credit information from permitted public and contributed sources. Paying or settling a debt does not automatically remove every entry. If information is wrong or outdated, use CTOS’s dispute process or contact the source party.
Read CTOS dispute guidanceCCRIS records credit facilities and repayment conduct reported by participating financial institutions. Settled arrears can appear in a later reporting cycle, while the report retains a factual 12-month repayment history. CCRIS is one source a lender may consider, not a decision by itself.
Read Bank Negara Malaysia’s CCRIS guidanceThe appropriate route depends on your situation. These are practical options to explore, not promises or instructions.

Ask the relevant lender about restructuring or a repayment arrangement, and compare the total cost as well as the monthly payment.

Raise inaccurate information with the reporting institution, source party or CTOS and keep the correspondence.

For serious repayment difficulty, independent financial advisory or debt-management support may be appropriate.
Learn about AKPK support
Where financing is relevant, 96 Century can explain whether an individual assessment may be worth discussing. It is not a guarantee of eligibility or approval.
After a full settlement, the participating financial institution is responsible for updating CCRIS. Bank Negara Malaysia says it should update the record by the next reporting date, no later than the 10th of the following month. The report still retains a factual rolling 12-month repayment history.
For a first review, start with only a general description of the issue and ask what documents may be relevant. This page does not collect or upload reports.
Clear CCRIS, CTOS and bad credit questions
No. CCRIS is factual credit reporting used as one input in credit assessment. A rejected application does not mean Bank Negara Malaysia has blacklisted you.
No. Accurate information is not something 96 Century can erase. If an entry is inaccurate or outdated, it must be raised with the relevant reporting institution, source party or CTOS. Settling arrears may change the current position once the relevant source updates it, while factual repayment history remains part of the record.
Settling arrears can change your current position once the reporting financial institution updates CCRIS. The report still shows a factual 12-month repayment history, so clearing arrears does not remove earlier late-payment information immediately. Check your updated report and raise any error with the reporting institution.
Paying or settling a debt does not automatically remove every CTOS entry. Check the report and the source of the information. If an entry is wrong or outdated, raise a dispute with CTOS or the relevant source party. Accurate and timely information is not something 96 Century can remove.
A CCRIS or CTOS concern does not decide every application by itself. Income, current commitments, documents, credit history and each lender’s criteria may all be considered. Where financing is relevant, any 96 Century assessment is individual and approval is not guaranteed.
CCRIS is only one input in a lender’s assessment. A lender may also consider income, existing commitments, supporting documents, credit history and its own criteria. A rejection does not mean Bank Negara Malaysia has blacklisted you.
No. We can review the report, discuss strategy, and coach you on what to say or do. We do not contact or negotiate with collection agencies on a client’s behalf.
